- Broker Comment: The lien in question is for arrears in Child Support. I raised my daughter by myself from birth until age 4 when it was agreed that primary custodianship would transfer to her mother. I have been making Child Support payments since then. However, my income has proven at times to be inadequate at meeting the amount ordered. I have spent much time and effort attempting to improve my career and scale up my income in efforts to meet the amount ordered. This is the largest contributing factor for my appreciation for this opportunity. Thus, the arrears above what my income has allowed me to be paid have been ordered to be garnished from my current wages. Upon contacting the Child Support Unit overseeing the order, they did not believe this garnishment to qualify as a lien. The payment plan can be considered to be the garnishment of wages at the present moment.
Should I file a FINRA complaint against brokers like WILLIAM PAUL REX HAMMACK?
Many investors (presumably, like yourself) are unaware of the legal recourse available to them after losing money due to securities broker fraud and/or negligence. The truth is that investors who lost money in this fashion may actually be entitled to damages. You may suffer significant losses at the hands of your financial advisors’ misconduct, such as if they misrepresented or failed to disclose the risks associated with a particular investment, recommended frequent trades for the sole purpose of generating commissions, or used high-pressure tactics to make a sale. The rules and regulations of securities laws and FINRA policies are complex, and investment loss claims require an extensive understanding of securities arbitration to achieve the best possible results.
