- Broker Comment: When my family and I first moved to the United States I was the only the person that was somewhat able to help my parents. But my father lost his job and my mother had a hard time finding a job because she only spoke Spanish. While trying to help my family I found myself in difficult position financially. I depended heavily on my credit cards in order for my parents, my siblings and I to get by. After a few months I was under so much pressure and my income was not enough to continue providing for my family. Finally I asked my aunt for advice because I was no longer able to make all my payments. she told me to filled for bankruptcy. Was that the best decision? No but unfortunately I did . If I knew back then what I know now I would not have done it. But I am using that experience to be better. On my credit report you will be able to see that I have never missed any of my payments or pay late. Also there are no collection notices on my credit report. Somehow I don’t regret filling for bankruptcy because that mistake has thought me so much. But most importantly filing for bankruptcy has also helped me to become more financially savvy. Also this process has helped to be more organized with my earning and I have also learned how to say to someone when they ask for financial help that I cannot afford. now that I live with my fianc\u00e9 we split the house bill and from the money that he provides to me for the house I save a portion. I also created the business so that I can generate extra income. in addition, I am contributing to my 401k besides my saving account.
Should I file a FINRA complaint against brokers like Rossanna A Lopez Reinoso?
Many investors (presumably, like yourself) are unaware of the legal recourse available to them after losing money due to securities broker fraud and/or negligence. The truth is that investors who lost money in this fashion may actually be entitled to damages. You may suffer significant losses at the hands of your financial advisors’ misconduct, such as if they misrepresented or failed to disclose the risks associated with a particular investment, recommended frequent trades for the sole purpose of generating commissions, or used high-pressure tactics to make a sale. The rules and regulations of securities laws and FINRA policies are complex, and investment loss claims require an extensive understanding of securities arbitration to achieve the best possible results.
